MARILYN MANSON Fans Arrested In Winnipeg
September 14, 2009The Canadian Press reports that some fans got carried away and extra police had to be called in near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada's MTS Centre late Sunday night (September 13) after a concert by shock-rocker MARILYN MANSON.
Winnipeg police blocked off Portage Ave. and called in for backup as rowdy fans poured out of the stadium. It's unknown how many people were arrested but several people were seen being taken away in handcuffs.
The new album from MARILYN MANSON, entitled "The High End Of Low", is the singer's first release with bassist Twiggy Ramirez since 2000's "Holy Wood".
Produced by Manson, Chris Vrenna and Twiggy, "The High End Of Low" was recorded in Manson's Hollywood Hills studio and also features the track "I Want to Kill You Like They Do In The Movies". Manson says of the new album, "I think my life definitely ended and began. The record sounds very final, but it's almost optimistic — though that feels like a strange word to use. It's a phoenix from the fire and a redemption resurrection."
